Academics at Concordia

At Concordia, the world is your classroom. Our globally focused curriculum integrates our academic offerings with an extensive study abroad program, giving you an understanding of language, culture and history that will help make you a confident and responsible global citizen.

Whether you want to make a difference by studying medicine or law, building sustainable communities or creating works of art, Concordia’s 78 majors, including 18 honors majors, will get you on your way. And if you’re not sure which academic path makes the best use of your talents, our top-notch professors will help you find it.

We also offer 12 preprofessional programs in fields such as medicine, law, engineering, and dentistry. Concordia graduates have achieved an 88 percent acceptance rate into medical school (in 10 years surveyed) and 93 percent of our applicants get into law school.

Through Concordia’s internship and co-op program, you can get hands-on experience working as a forensic crime lab assistant, a nurse’s assistant in a local medical centers or even a junior programmer for Microsoft. Concordia students land more than 400 internships a year across the country and around the globe.

More than anything, a Concordia education is individualized for your success. With a student-faculty ratio of 13:1 and 83 percent of classes with fewer than 30 students, you’ll never get lost in the shuffle.
