Favorite thing about Concordia: I love everything here, but if I had to pick a favorite I would pick the professors. They all care about their students and their subjects, which makes Concordia the perfect place to learn.
One obstacle I had to overcome at Concordia: My freshman experience was not exactly typical, since I had spent two years on Youth Encounter music ministry teams before coming to college. Making the transition from full-time volunteer to full-time student was a challenge.
Best advice to a new student at Concordia: I would suggest depth over breadth of extra-curricular activities. There just isn't time to do everything, and your class work should get priority. Get involved in the areas where you are passionate, and find a place to volunteer.
Summer Job/Activities: Camp counselor at Lake Wapogasset Lutheran Bible Camp
Favorite attraction or hang-out in Fargo/Moorhead: Gio's
Little known fact about yourself: I learned how to ride a motorcycle before I learned how to drive a car.
Favorite pick up line: Is your dad a dentist? Because you have a beautiful smile! An elderly Concordia alumnus actually asked me this after chapel one day J
