Erin Colenso
Name: Erin Colenso
Graduation year: 2012
Major(s)/Minor: Math Education - Secondary
Hometown, State: Grand Forks, ND
Concordia Involvement/Activities: Student Success, Academic Enhancement Center Math Tutor, Arc Buddies, Education Club; previous-choir, CSC Blood Drive Coordinator, CSC Arc Buddies Program Director
Favorite thing about Concordia: small campus, great people, good education
One obstacle I had to overcome at Concordia: being homesick freshmen year and almost transferring because of it.
Best advice to a new student at Concordia: College will be an adjustment. More reading. More studying. More homework. Don't get too stressed out over it. It's not worth it. Make sure you take time to breath and have fun. Balance is the key. Get involved to feel a part of the school and to meet new friends! J
Summer Job/Activities: nannying three girls in West Fargo, waitress at Famous Daves!
Favorite attraction or hang-out in Fargo/Moorhead: Cold Stone, West Acres mall
Little known fact about yourself: I have studied abroad in Germany (in high school) and have been to Iceland, Switzerland, and Austria.
