Favorite thing about Concordia: Friendly professors and students
One obstacle I had to overcome at Concordia: I transferred to Concordia in 2009, and as a transfer and an older student, it took me a while to get to know people and find a niche at Concordia. Everyone here was so friendly, though, that it didn't take too long.
Best advice to a new student at Concordia: Find your place on campus: be friendly, open to new experiences, and join clubs or organizations to make great connections at Concordia!
Summer Job/Activities: I am doing undergraduate research at Concordia as well as teaching piano and working at a safe home, jobs I've had for several years.
Favorite attraction or hang-out in Fargo/Moorhead: Moxie Java, a great coffee shop (with weekday happy hours!) on 4th street and main avenue in Moorhead.
Little known fact about yourself: I have a twin sister who doesn't live here but comes and visits me frequently-the double-takes and confusion when we go out together is always fun.
Favorite pick up line: Remember me? Oh that's right, I've only met you in my dreams!
