During this workshop students will work through a series of exercises in which they learn to talk about research with different audiences. Open to all students & their mentors; snacks provided.

Students will be given tips and ideas for making good oral presentations and posters during this workshop. Open to all students & their mentors; snacks provided.

Picnic at Long Lake Long Lake Field Research Site
Students and their mentors will have the chance to picnic and pull weeds at Concordia’s field site, Long Lake, located a few miles from Detroit Lakes. Attendees are asked to bring their own beverages and snacks to this picnic. Salads, hot dogs, and burgers will be provided.

If you are interested in attending, please sign up for this event on the sheet outside of Susan Larson’s office(Ivers 260B) by June 16. Please note if you will be providing your own transportation or if you will travel in the college vehicle with the group. Directions will be available at a later date.

Students will complete a survey which will assess learning outcomes pertaining to their undergraduate research experience. All students requested to attend; STEP students required to attend. Snacks provided

End of Summer Party Gooseberry Park Shelter
Students, mentors and friends are welcomed to a party to celebrate a successful summer research experience. Come out for dinner, play some outdoor games. Music provided by Dr. Wyllie and his band.
