Sustainability
Get Involved
Student Environmental AllianceSEA is a student organization that works to bring awareness of environmental and sustainability issues to the larger campus community. SEA has been a leading force in helping Concordia move towards a more ecologically literate campus while pushing for continued progress in sustainability.
SEA has undertaken many projects and played critical roles in the development of a “trayless” dining service, Concordia’s first organic student-run garden, expanding recycling—including glass and ink cartridges—planning events for “Green Week” and “Earth Week”, and organizing a unified student voice. More so, SEA does many fun projects and demonstrations such as the annual winter camp-out by the bell tower.
SEA Residence Representatives
Residence representatives are here to represent student interests by acting as correspondents between Hall Council, Student Government Association, and SEA. Residence representatives are engaged in promoting sustainability in our residence halls in many ways, including furthering the Dorms Recycling Project. You can contact a residence representative by attending a Hall Council or SEA meeting, or by contacting the president of your hall. If you would like to become a residence representative, you can enter the Hall Council election at the beginning of the school year.
